The Honda K-series engine is a four-cylinder four-stroke car engine line that was introduced in 2001. The K-series engines have DOHC valvetrains and reduce friction with roller rockers on the cylinder head. The engines are equipped with a coil-on-plug, distributorless ignition system, with one coil for each spark plug.
