Both the Slant 6 and Dodge Mirada disappeared after 1983. Mirada was more or less replaced by the front-wheel-drive 400 in Dodge's lineup.

Oil grooves were in the upper half of the bearings, and in the lower half of the #1 bearing. The connecting rod bearings were aluminum on steel.
